We have a number of clinical research studies currently underway and you may be eligible to enroll if you meet certain criteria. We frequently begin new studies, involving many different neurological conditions. Check back often to see what studies are active at our office. CURRENT STUDIES
Stratify 2 (JCV Registry)
This is a study that tests all Multiple Sclerosis Patients for JC Virus (the virus associated with PML). Anyone is eligible for enrollment, i.e. you do not have to be an active patient at Schenectady Neurogical Consultants to enroll.
Lacosamide Conversion to Monotherapy
This is a study for patients ages 16-18 with partial epilepsy. This is a trial for the medication lacosamide (Vimpat) to see if patients can be successfully converted to monotherapy (one medication) with Vimpat to treat their seizure disorder. Please call if you think you may qualify.
